Significant success has been achieved in Nandail Upazila in the last few years in improving the quality of health services of the people. As a reward for this achievement, Upazila Health Complex Nandail won the 'National Award of the Minister of Health 2019' as the best upazila of the department in 2019. Neonatal mortality and maternal mortality have declined significantly in the last 3 years. Malaria, tuberculosis and kala-azar infections can be controlled. Reconstruction of 30 community clinics and effective operation of all community clinics with adequate manpower and adequate medicine (28 types of medicines) to ensure health services to the rural people is playing a significant role in improving the health of the rural people. From the Union Sub-Health Center, quality health care is being provided to the people on a regular basis. The use of information technology in health management has been introduced and the rate of online reporting of various indicators in the health sector of the upazila has increased significantly.E-health service has been launched. Regular RT-PCR and rapid antigen tests are being performed to treat coronavirus pandemic. Necessary steps have been taken to ensure proper treatment of the affected patients. Public participation in healthcare is constantly increasing. The Nandail Upazila Health Complex has been relentlessly engaged as a trusted institution in all types of health services including ensuring mass vaccination against coronavirus.
